During 2006, Shriners Hospitals approved 38,984 new patients, and attended to the needs of over 128,500 patients.
Activities included:

• 251,461 radiology procedures
• 296,859 out-patient, out-reach, or tele-medicine visits
• 61,103 orthotic and prosthetic devices
• 24,609 surgical procedures
• 412,387 physical therapy treatments
• 181,174 occupational therapy treatments

The total budget for 2007 is $721 million, of which $655 million is targeted for operating expenses (with $37 million for research), and $66 million for buildings and equipment expenditures.

Over our 85 year history it has cost approximately $8.2 BILLION to operate Shriners Hospitals and over $1.76 BILLION for construction and renovation of hospitals.

We have over 50 registered drivers from HADJI; Pete Peterson has currently made 122 trips, which is the equivelent of 127,000 miles!

Tampa Hospital reports that as of April 2007, Hadji Temple has made 1,300 trips to the hospital (the equivelent of over 1,192,000 miles)! We currently service over 300 patients who live in Hadji Shrine Temple territory. This includes: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties.
